i write i love you everywhere i can
& like a ritual of validation of complicity
it carries me over the threshold

I’m curious about the relationship of our physical bodies to the internet. Not just how we engage but, as in this piece, the frequency of our connection and what this connection means in terms of being kind of, sorta, just a little, complicit in feeding the machine of surveillance capitalism, of being objectified and commodified.
The rite of pausing, scanning, and centering myself before going online is an act of autonomy in a digital age as much as it is an exploration of the boundaries between what is mine and what is being mined.
