As a means of communication, commerce, entertainment, productivity, art, dating, education, and more, our lives are inescapably intertwined with the internet. A recent study from Nielsen Media (notably dated as of the time of this writing) pointed out that the average American Adult spends nearly 12 hours per day interacting with media. A full shift by anyone’s measure.

&, then some.

In this work, I’ve intervened in this relationship, forcing a meditative calm. 


The work best presents as a contemplative immersive installation in which viewers are encouraged to stay and watch the display(s) for an extended duration, able to take in the experience of intense and randomized colors generated via subversion of the structure of the internet itself (HTML and CSS code, primarily.)
